Don’t be fooled by the Republican ads

Anybody noticing the Republican ads for Iowa state offices?
If you do not see the two second, tiny banner at the bottom that says 'Republican” something or other, they sound pretty positive … jobs, education, linking job training with community colleges. What a sham. There's no mention of what I will do, or what I have already done, to support privatization of Medicaid, push massive tax breaks for corporations or trash access to family planning. Not one word.
What an obviously contrived strategy. My hunch is if Kim Reynolds implodes on health care and women's issues, then Republicans hope to keep a majority by dumbing down their ads for those on the fence.
Be honest. If you cannot stand up and be proud to be Republican, quit trying to con Iowa voters.
