Don’t allow Toyota to be destroyed
The Gazette Opinion Staff

Toyota Motor Co. has earned its position of being the No. 1 or No. 2 two top selling car company in the world for many years. They are superb autos and a great value in every sense. My family has owned two Camrys and two Avalons during the past 15 years with no problems whatsoever. I currently enjoy its flagship car, the Lexus LS.
Any auto company can have a faulty part or a failure. What's interesting is the media and government's attempt to beat up and squash this great automaker.
Could it be because Toyota is built in the United States by non-union plants? Or because they compete with and clobber our now government-owned General Motors?
Loyal Toyota owners will stick with them. I sincerely hope citizens and consumers don't allow the government and the media to ruin a great automaker.
