Don Steichen has done much for city

To the editor:
I am disappointed that when I nominated Don Steichen that he was not selected for the Five Seasons Citizen award. Above all, the committee never informed him that he was nominated.
Steichen has done so much for our city, especially the dedication to the Ellis Boat Harbor. He has taken on so many responsibilities that it would take forever to show what he has done. Some of these include the third of July fireworks, Venetian Night, and all the hard work that he has done for the Ellis harbor.
He has made the City of Cedar Rapids a wonderful place to live. As a harbor tenant and all the people he helps, I thank you, Don.
