Doctors control the drugs patients use

The use of marijuana as a medicine is the most powerful argument that recreational use of marijuana should be illegal.
Marijuana is being used to treat serious medical diseases and conditions. Therefore, it is clear that it is a powerful drug. Taking a powerful drug regularly is evidence that one is self-medicating.
The proverb states, 'A physician who treats himself has a fool for a doctor and an idiot for a patient.” If that is true for a doctor, how much more is it true for someone such as you or me? Instead of self-medicating, it makes more sense to see a doctor, counselor or pastor and resolve the issue or disease.
