Doctor dumping patients defeats fair health care

Your recent article about the doctor who dumped more than 2,800 patients and kept the 600 to 700 who could afford to pay him $1,500 a year to be part of his “chosen few” was frightening. All of those people had to struggle to find an overworked doctor who could take them on.
I'm sure the Medicare people were the first to be dumped because they couldn't afford to pay his bribe. Many doctors won't accept any more Medicare patients. I went through this several years ago.
If this idea spreads, it will defeat all attempts to have fair health care for all. Fewer and fewer doctors would treat the growing number of people who need their services. Longer waits for appointments and stressed-out doctors.
