Do Republicans feel shame for speaker vote?

To the Republicans responsible for voting for the current members of the House,
Do you not feel intense shame for the debacle that occurred while the new Speaker of the House was voted for, beginning Jan. 3 and ending Jan. 7 after 15 rounds of voting? This was seemingly achieved only after giving whatever it was Matt Gaetz (who by the way was seated next to the infamous George Santos) wanted from McCarthy, in exchange for his vote.
Other than trying to embarrass Hunter Biden, what will they accomplish for the next two years?
Will they pass anything that will benefit their constituents?
Will they pass anything that will benefit the United States?
Will they continue to be buddies with members of the militia, in violation of their oath?
Will they continue the "big lie" that Trump won when he actually lost?
How many will actually honor the oath they took?
I solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.
