Discrimination still exists

To the editor:
Discrimination against mental illness, unfortunately, still is prevalent in our society.
It has been said that the effects of discrimination can feel worse than the actual illness itself.
Discrimination is degrading, making someone feel like less than a person, a humiliating experience that no one deserves and it affects everyone. That's why it needs to stop.
