Lawyers and human rights scholars are making pronouncements concerning climate change, sea levels, water cycles, etc. They rely on the discredited Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, U.S. Global Change, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and others.
Scientists who specialize in sea levels believe there is no way to predict any sea level rise at all in the 21st century. The International Union for Quaternary Research (INQUA), a 75-year-old scientific organization dedicated to researching global environmental and climatic changes over the past 2 million years, harshly criticized the IPCC for its handling of sea level issues. INQUA says the IPCC has ignored the scientists who produced most of the data about sea levels, choosing to rely instead of unverified model results.
Also, according to the greenhouse theory, more carbon dioxide in the Earth's atmosphere will trap more of the Earth's radiated heat, warming the lower atmosphere and surface of the planet, all other things being equal. But Earth's temperature has warmed only slightly since 1940 despite the huge clouds of greenhouse gases emitted from human activities - evidence that human greenhouse effect must be so small that it presents little threat to the planet or its people.
If the American Clean Energy and Security Act is passed, it will disastrously affect the American people and its industries for no good reason.
