Develop casino site for family activities

The June 2 Gazette included a guest column 'Prospect Meadows scores from all bases” about the 17-field baseball and softball complex being proposed at the intersection of Highway 13 and County Home Road.
It stated 60,000 people are expected to visit the site each year with most of the visitors coming from out of state. I assume most of these would be families with youngsters coming to play or watch ball games.
With all these families coming to town, this seems like a good time to develop a family-centered attraction on the Cedar Rapids site formerly proposed for a casino.
