Democrats, transformed into hypocrites

An amazing transformation has taken place in Washington, have you noticed? The Democrats are now the self-proclaimed champions of cutting government spending. Harry Reid has the unmitigated gall to call upon the Republicans to join the Democrats in this noble mission.
The hypocrisy of it just takes your breath away. If the problem wasn't so deadly serious, this would be high comedy.
In the meantime, our president does what he does best. He goes somewhere else, gives a rousing patriotic speech, comes back to Washington and appoints a special commission to “study” the matter. Heaven help us, one and all.
