Democrats are in denial about Biden

We really didn’t learn anything new about either candidate in the recent debate; although Biden’s disappointing performance did remind us all that he is an old man.
I have seen in many contexts that people prefer an easy — but wrong — answer to a hard answer. We Democrats have been in denial. What do we expect of Biden? That he’ll act like a young man? That he’ll be out there every day giving rousing speeches? That he will not continue to decline as he gets older? Look at what is at stake. Again, think about what is at stake. We urgently need to address the hard question.
