Defend the United States from Trump

One of the tenets of citizens of the United States is love of country. I served my country in Vietnam where our purpose was to defeat the enemy and defend our country. I saw combat. We exchanged gunfire with the enemy. I helped the wounded to safety. I enlisted when I was 17 and had to have my parents sign for me as I was too young to volunteer on my own. My two brothers did the same. We nor my brothers and sisters who are or were in the military are “suckers or losers” as Trump called Marines who died at Belleau Wood “suckers” and fallen soldiers at Aisne-Marne American Cemetery “losers.”
We have a person running to be president of our country who, deliberately with malaise and forethought, attempted to overthrow the government of the United States. He tried to overturn the results of a free and fair election for president. He established himself as a traitor in his attempt to destroy this nation by destroying democracy. He defied his oath of office “ … to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States….”
I took a similar oath “ … that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic … ” I cannot and will not support the MAGA Republicans who insist on supporting a traitor and are perpetuating Trump’s attempted overthrow of the government of the United States.
