Dale Todd has bold visions for Cedar Rapids

It is rare to work with a person who is capable of seeing bold visions for our community and then can manage the details necessary to completion. Dale Todd has those attributes. He is a community builder in the very best sense of the term.
I have worked with Dale since we were on City Council together. During that time, he helped bring his visions to life by building the west-side skateboard park and Tuma Soccer Complex, he partnered with the Science Station on the IMAX theater, he rebuilt the city’s playgrounds and pools, and helped establish our African American Museum of Iowa … just to name a few.
Dale’s community activism has included championing flood protection for the downtown, NewBo and Czech Village areas. We have worked together on ConnectCR — the project connecting Cedar Lake to a new pedestrian Bridge — which will bring a game-changing set of attractions to Cedar Rapids. These will leverage the energy of downtown and the surrounding neighborhoods while protecting our urban ecology and creating an iconic new symbol for the community.
Dale is incredibly competent, intelligent and accomplished. He stands up for what he believes, and he will continue to keep government honest. He brings a different, unique, and important perspective to the development of local policy issues facing our city.
Please support Dale Todd for City Council.
