Czech Village is proud Cedar Rapids history

Our City Council members have the opportunity to show just how much they really care about the history of Cedar Rapids and if they are going to be swayed by threats.
The history of Czech Village is also the history of Cedar Rapids. I don't feel that enough attention is being paid toward preserving this history.
An idea has been given that would preserve some of the historical homes in the Czech Village area. It is in the Council's hands.
They need to do everything they can to preserve these homes for their historic nature and so future generations can enjoy this area.
There is more to Cedar Rapids than the downtown area.
Mayor Ron Cobett and the Council need to start acting on things we want to see done instead of just what the Chamber of Commerce or Downtown Association wants.
