Cutting nutrition assistance a bad idea

The “cut food stamps” bandwagon in Washington is mind-boggling. We're a nation striving to ensure everyone has access to health care and health insurance, but we're cutting nutrition assistance?
I suppose those nutritionally deficient can be admitted to hospitals under the Affordable Care Act to get three squares a day.
