Cutting IRS funding cuts government funds
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Mar. 13, 2011 11:38 am
The Internal Revenue Service is a necessary part of government. It collects the tax money required to keep the country running.
Reported in the paper recently: Every $1 used by the IRS to audit returns results in $10 returned. Why would the Republican Party severely reduce funds to the IRS? What is their rationale? Are they all cheating on their taxes or are they trying to destroy the democracy they proclaim to be so proud of?

Why Democrats support public sector unions
Public sector unions give millions to the campaigns of mostly Democrat politicians. The politicians reward the unions with high-paying jobs, pie-in-the-sky retirement and health care benefits for life. And it's all done with the liberal's favorite currency, other people's money.
What could possibly go wrong with this system? Wisconsin, Illinois, Greece, New York, Ohio, California, etc.
