Creative solutions for more straightforward political debates

Debates are very important, but they have turned more into a circus lately without the animals or clowns. I suggest that a couple of changes be made that will help provide viewers of political debates with actual facts from the politicians instead of the constant dribble that comes across their lips.
If a politician does not answer the question and drifts off topic, shut their microphone off.
Politicians should be required to receive an enema 12 hours before the scheduled debate to cleanse themselves of all the BS that has accumulated over time.
