CR resident misses Nativity scenes

To the editor:
A sad sign of our times - no Nativity set up outside our churches. When I was growing up it seemed like all Christian churches proudly set up their Nativity scenes out front every Christmas season. This year I drove around town and couldn't find any. Why? Have we stopped believing in the true meaning of Christmas? Is it now just Santa and toys?
Sure you can still find an occasional set up but nothing like it use to be. I know certain younger people always make fun of my generation when we refer to how things use to be, but I believe this is one tradition that needs to be brought back.
