Coverage of Decorah Eagles is delightful

I am delighted with the coverage of the Decorah eagles. It's heartwarming to know that thousands of people worldwide watch and learn about bald eagles, their lives and habits.
I have a little history with Bob Anderson, the Raptor Resource Project director. A few years ago, a friend and I attended a program at the Osborne Conservation Center called “Older, Wiser, Livelier Souls.” Anderson was the presenter. At that time, Anderson was primarily known as the man who almost single-handedly brought the peregrine falcon back from near extinction. His presentation about the peregrines was awe-inspiring and caused my friend and I to become longtime Anderson fans. Unfortunately, my friend and I were the only people present. Anderson had traveled from Decorah to Elkader to give the program. Even after having been told that there would only be two in his audience, he chose to go ahead and give it. Our only regret was that so many people who could have enjoyed it as we did not come. He has held a special place in my heart ever since.
