Cortez an honest, sincere choice for C.R.

I have known Carl Cortez for almost 35 years. He is the best fit for our city, which is at a turning point. Our flood recovery, downtown revamping and lack of leadership by our city council have left the people of Cedar Rapids wanting more answers, honest answers.

I firmly believe Cortez will be the answer. The answers he gave to the posed questions have been honest, intelligent and sincere and do not sound like a page from the playbook of the existing city council.

I want someone who will look at all sides of the issue, discuss the problems, evaluate the options and make a decision for the city based on the information presented. The core of our city is rotten. We need Carl to make the city healthy again.
