Corbett has the right agenda for fixing city

We have seen a lot over the past years since the new form of government came into play, and have seen a lot of mistakes made.
The flood has shown us that this present city council seems to not really care about the common citizens who lost their homes and other property to this disaster. They seem to be more concerned with rebuilding the downtown area, where no one really goes, and to try to rectify why we need a new building for City Hall. They have spent money on consultants plus flood control equipment that doesn't work.
We need a mayor who knows what the city's charter says about the city manager working for the council and not the other way around.
The mayor should also be someone who has more experience in politics and knows where to go to get needed help. He should also be someone who will work with public safety officials to cut our crime rate way down.
The one I can see really see filling the shoes is Ron Corbett. He has come out with several agendas, which I know he will work to get done if elected in the Nov. 3 city election.
