Corbett has risen to the challenge
The Gazette Opinion Staff

I believe the citizens of Cedar Rapids should look at who has changed the city into the vibrant town it has become.
We have a mayor who was challenged with the results of damage done by the great flood of 2008 and now we have a challenger (Greg Hughes) who has no clue.
He is not one to listen. Don't try to question him or he will have you disciplined for something he feels is a challenge. I have not heard his answer for how he will fix the city streets without supporting the 1 percent sales tax. He says no taxes but is not willing to pay his own share, yet wants to have all the benefits others earn by paying their dues and taxes.
So in order to keep the city growing, I will vote for Ron Corbett for mayor and hope others do the same.
