The columns written by Althea Cole and Todd Dorman, in the Oct. 12 edition, both demonstrated the importance of a bona fide search process for Iowa school superintendent positions. And, more importantly, how this activity has been tainted over the years by outside consultants.
Both columnists provided facts, costs, motives and alternative suggestions to improve or eliminate the corruption in Iowa school superintendent hiring practices.
