Considering the real ‘cost of living’

I have stage 4 prostate cancer. My main concern is to live comfortably with pain. To do this I must rely upon narcotics prescribed by physicians. These don't cost much, but if I want to attack the cancer, the cost is prohibitive.

Why is it that life depends upon wealth?
