Consider viewpoints before casting vote

It seems that every time we have a major election, I hear, 'It is more important than ever before that you vote.” Now that we are coming close to another election it is very true once again.
Anyone who is working a minimum wage job must vote. Your survival depends on it. Do you think $7.25 an hour is 'good enough” for Iowa? If not, don't vote for Joni Ernst as that is what she believes.
She also would like to get rid of the federal minimum wage. If that happens, any state controlled by Republicans would never get an increase. Republicans want to make cuts in Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.
These expenditures did not cause the deficit we have today. It was caused by two wars that were put on the credit card. Every time there is something that needs to be paid for, the Republicans say no, unless there is a cut someplace else. But when they were in the White House, spending was no problem. As soon as President Barack Obama was elected, they vowed to make him fail. We cannot let this hatred take down our country.
