The Republicans in Congress are complicit in Donald Trump’s attack on a sovereign nation, including all six of Iowa’s congressional delegates. Sens. Grassley and Ernst along with Reps. Hinson, Miller-Meeks, Nunn and Feenstra have either remained silent, or parroted the Republican’s excuses.
We know Trump, Hegseth, Rubio and Miller will not stop with Venezuela’s oil industry. They are intent on controlling Greenland’s rare minerals and more. Noem’s ICE agents are shooting and killing American citizens. Trump has learned well from his mentor Putin, to use force both at home and abroad.
Trump’s puppets the Senate are ignoring the Constitution and destroying our democracy in the space of one administration. It is past time for the Republicans in Congress to rally for all Americans instead of supporting a king who no longer thinks he needs Congressional approval.
Contact your representative and both senators demanding they petition the Supreme Court for an emergency ruling to reverse the order which allows Trump executive immunity. We cannot wait until November’s midterm election. Contact the entire Iowa delegation to tell them to step up and do their job. Use your voice and presence to keep our democracy.
