Community fortunate to have Dr. Ghosh
The Gazette Opinion Staff
May. 8, 2011 11:02 am
I am a patient of Dr. Chirantan Ghosh and I'm appalled at Physicians' Clinic of Iowa, CEO Mike Sundall and all the other people involved in the demise of Dr. Ghosh's practice.
This is living proof of their so-called “caring for the patients” rhetoric. It's all about money, and the people of Cedar Rapids and surrounding communities have “been taken” by the building of the PCI medical mall.
As Margaret Kegel of Hiawatha stated, Dr. Ghosh “looks at every aspect of how the treatment impacts your quality of life.” Guess what? This even saves Medicare some money! Each and every one of his patients love him because we are all treated with love, caring and respect and not just the income we provide.
The community is fortunate to have an oncologist of his stature. I hope we can keep him!
