Comments challenge Dems as Americans

Hats off to Todd Dorman for his excellent March 6 column, “Stop with the Obama lies already.”
The reckless comments by former Gov. Mike Huckabee about President Barack Obama's allegedly suspect background and worldview are yet another example of what the editors of The New Republic magazine recently called “a rhetorical vice that Republicans have indulged for years: the smug and poisonous suggestion that Democrats or liberals are not real Americans.”
Dorman told it as it is!
