Column writer needs wake-up call

I was almost moved to tears by the image of Iowa bankers working so tirelessly to protect the little guy as portrayed by John Sorensen of the Iowa Bankers Association (July 17 column). I am sure they are just too weary to stand further oversight.
If you are going to print this self-serving, mindless drivel, I suggest that you place it next to the two pages of foreclosure notices that appear in each Tuesday's edition.
