Cole’s opinion shows how America elected someone like Trump

I read Althea Cole’s column on Kamala Harris being a bad candidate. Cole talks of Tim Walz stretching the truth on a few issues while ignoring the pathological lies of Trump and Vance. This kind of selective right wing propaganda in the media is how America chose to elect a sexual predator and felon for the first time in history! Her saying that she wanted Trump to “shut his yap” about election denial doesn’t change that she said his conduct on Jan. 6, 2021 didn’t meet the definition of inciting an insurrection. Again, selective coverage in right wing media of the deadly attack on our country got us to the point of that inciter heading back into the Oval Office. Then there was Cole thinking one of Trump’s tweets of childish insults at Democrats was funny. How sick our country has become when they think childish and cruel insults by a man running for president should earn him a return to our White House!
