A United Nations global warming report in 1989 predicted, “rising seas could obliterate nations by 2000.” In 2008, media mogul Ted Turner warned, “in just 10 years earth could be too hot to grow crops and cannibals will prevail.” In 2023 Al Gore ranted, “we’re boiling oceans.”
Settled science tells us that earth has warmed 1.8 degrees Farenheit since the late 1800s. Settled science tells us that earth began another natural warming phase 147 years before the beginning of the worldwide Industrial Revolution in 1840. Science has not defined what percent of the 1.8 degrees is due to humanity.
Exaggeration and speculation are tools of deception. Deception is the foundation of climate remedies running amok. Examples include; $5 trillion has been spent worldwide for inconsistent wind and solar electricity which amounts to just 3% of the world’s energy use according to the Manhattan Institute. China is mass producing long-term coal fired power plants that will help manufacture climate remedy materials for the U.S. Dangerous CO2 pipelines and eliminating cattle (i.e. meat, milk, and cheese) are now appearing in climate remedy disguise.
For me, climate remedy became personal with farm land threatened by eminent domain. For consumers and taxpayers, the time to scrutinize costly, unproven climate agendas is long overdue!
