Clinton will bring hope, strength

To the editor:
Choosing a president is a very important task. In fact, vitally important. In my mind, it means finding someone who will lead with the strength of love and justice, one who will bring hope and strength to all of us - rich, poor, of any race, religion, class, or income level. The president must be someone who truly seeks to serve others and not just their own interests.
None of us is perfect, and therefore, there can be no president who is perfect. But we can seek someone who is doing the best he/she can to bring about peace and hope for all. Thus, I am a Democrat - not that we are perfect either - because we express the ideals that are closest to my understanding of Christianity. I appreciate all three of the candidates and that in which they believe. I have decided to support Hillary Clinton because she seems to be the most approachable, the most tender, and the one most able to accomplish progress toward peace and justice for all.
There are many, blinded by their self-interests, who will fight against her, who will seek to hold on to their own positions and power, and the struggle will not be pretty at times, but the future of America is at stake and I fear for us all if the money and power interests win this election.
