Clinton more than qualified to lead

To the editor:
There has never been a more qualified candidate for president than Hillary Clinton.
Heaven knows we need a qualified person in the presidency at this time in history. She has been a First Lady, Senator and Secretary of State. All of her adult life, she has been an advocate for children and families.
Unlike many of the other candidates, she is well-versed in foreign policy and knows most of the world leaders. But she also is knowledgeable and pragmatic. She has specific plans (you can read them at hillaryclinton.com/issues) for economics, Wall Street reform, raising the minimum wage and raising income for Middle America, campaign finance reform, gun violence prevention, Social Security and Medicare, paid family leave, climate change, LGBT rights, voting rights, veterans' issues, affordable college, early childhood education, K-12 education, infrastructure rebuilding and immigration reform.
We know that she has been a fierce advocate for health care for all for many years.
This is an important election and we are fortunate that it starts in Iowa. I hope you will join Democrats at the caucus on Monday.
