Clinton ignored requests for protection

To the editor:
Regarding the Nov. 7 letter 'Benghazi committee backfires on party”:
The Democratic Party is stuck with a presidential candidate who lies to the American people. From the Benghazi hearings, the electorate learns that Hillary Clinton on the same day she told her daughter, Chelsea, terrorists inspired the attack, she tells the media and the public it was a response to a video.
She is smooth, intelligent and a good actress, but citizens want a president who tells them the truth.
The hearings also revealed the embassy leaders many times pleaded for help for protection. Clinton and the president ignored those requests.
