Christmas lights brightened the holidays
The Gazette Opinion Staff

Going out to see the Christmas holiday lights provided a wonderful respite from political ads. Tremendous thanks to all the people who turned their houses and yards into lighted wonderlands. I remember how much time and effort it took, to say nothing of the jump in the light bill.
From all of us who no longer are able to take part in this annual ritual, a huge thank you! Special thanks to the folks on Otis Road who turned their yards into a magical forest of lights, animals, snowmen, Santas and a beautiful life-size Nativity scene.
It is an amazing treat for youngsters as well as adults.
