Christians must accept God’s word on gays

The Presbyterian Church (USA) continues its downhill slide to total apostasy as it more firmly embraces and approves of that which God condemns: homosexual behavior. The Feb. 27 article tells about three proposals by the Presbytery of East Iowa that will be sent to the General Assembly. Two change the language defining marriage as “between a man and a woman,” to the new definition as between “two people.” The other proposal is to make possible the ordination of homosexuals.
“The same-gender question has been a matter of some conflict and controversy,” said the Rev. Sam Massey, minister of the Iowa City church.
Well, Massey, where in Scripture do you find any “conflict and controversy”? God's word is very perspicuous - it says homosexual behavior is wrong, period. Why is this so difficult to understand?
A question I have for the new definition of marriage: Why stop at two people? Is it not intolerant to define marriage as between only two people? Is that not discriminating against their civil rights? What moral basis limits the definition of marriage to two people?
You don't have to agree with the Bible's stance on homosexual behavior, but if you claim to be a Christian, then you must accept it as God's word. Otherwise, call yourself something else.
