Chris Christie provides leadership we need

To the editor:

2016 is a pivotal year. We face threats from abroad and domestically. It is for this reason we need a leader who knows how to keep our country safe. Not just words, a flowery speech, or an angry diatribe. Steady leadership through strength.

Only one candidate embodies these requirements: Gov. Chris Christie. He is the only candidate in the race that has prosecuted terrorists. With what's going on in the world, we need someone who has that kind of deep national security background and understands the right way to protect our nation and our constitutional rights. If Gov. Christie is in the White House, we won't need to worry about our president capitulating to the Iranians or getting pushed around by Putin. We'll have strong American leadership back for the first time in eight years.
