Chris Christie is the clear choice

To the editor:

On Monday, we will make the serious decision to select a nominee for the Republican Party. At this time, we are in need of a leader who not only talks the talk, but walks the walk. Talk is cheap. Dramatics is just that - theater. This cycle has had quite a few scripted, unreal events. It used to be the teleprompter - now candidates plant questions, prevent voters from expressing their concerns and avoid real interaction with We the People.

This is why I strongly support Gov. Chris Christie for president. His tell-it-like-it-is approach and his follow through make his selection clear. He has the temperament, experience, toughness and openness to take on the challenges around the globe and here at home. He will be ready on day one and is the only candidate in our party who can beat our Democrat opponent in the general election.
