Change the dynamics on Linn County board

We have three Linn County Supervisors. It only takes a simple majority (2 people) to make decisions that affect all of us in Linn County. The disturbing part is that when they hold public comment hearings three times before giving final approval/disapproval of certain business matters, it seems like some members of the Board are only going through the motions of considering our concerns. It appears that the minds of two of them are made up before they even open the meetings. Why should we waste our time if our opinions do not have any impact? Most recently, it was the two solar farm projects that were approved to be placed on Linn County prime farmland when the two Democrats agreed with local business representatives and not the people who were against the projects (2:1 against).
It's time to change the dynamics of the Linn County Board of Supervisors. Please consider voting for Mark Banowetz, who is running to fill the vacancy left by Stacey Walker, and for Brett Mason, who is opposing Ben Rogers. We need people who are willing to listen to the community’s concerns and not have a predetermined mindset that only benefits big businesses.
