Celebrate Dr. King by attending upcoming IC theatre performance

We recently celebrated MLK Day as a nation. If you weren’t able to find a way to honor this day due to the extremely cold weather, I would like to offer an upcoming play at Riverside Theatre in Iowa City.
The Mountaintop by Katori Hall will be playing Feb. 23 through March 10. It is a gripping re-imagination of the night before Dr. Martin Luther King’s assassination at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis. My husband and I were fortunate enough to see this play in New York City with Angela Bassett and Samuel L. Jackson and we are looking forward to seeing it again at this professional theater in Iowa City.
Consider honoring Dr. King and treating yourself to a theatrical performance that will live in your memory for years to come.
