Cedar Lake a gift to the community

I've been so interested in your articles about Cedar Lake. It could be such a wonderful recreational attraction. Already, many walkers, joggers and bikers use it, not to mention the fishermen. In 2001, I found that canoes and kayaks were allowed, and it's been a joy for me ever since.
It's in the city and you don't have to drive many miles to reach it. Though it isn't big if you go around it enough times, it seems big. To feel the sunshine and watch the blue sky, to measure the waves and see if it's time to leave, to watch the many birds land or take flight, and feel at peace is priceless.
I hope the city and Alliant will raise it on their list of priorities. It would be a magnificent gift to the community.
