At the caucuses, we Democrats decide what issues are important, what we want our party to stand for, and we determine the policies we want passed by our lawmakers.
We decide what is possible!
Twenty years ago, reforming health insurance seemed impossible. But thanks to President Obama and Democrats, the ACA passed and now 40 million Americans are insured.
Ten years ago, negotiating Medicare prices seemed impossible. But thanks to President Biden and Democrats, seniors will now see prescription drug prices go down.
Five years ago, capping insulin costs seemed impossible. But thanks to President Biden and Democrats, seniors will see prescription caps of $35 for insulin.
Four years ago, economic recovery from the pandemic and investing in roads, bridges, high speed internet, and manufacturing seemed impossible. But thanks to President Biden and Democrats, a recession was avoided and our economy is stronger.
Do you want reproductive rights and freedoms and our cherished democracy protected? How about strengthening and funding public schools and stopping the giveaway of public money to private schools? Do you need higher wages, affordable housing, health care and child care? How about protecting Social Security and Medicare from politicians? Then, caucus with the Democrats!
Join your neighbors to discuss issues important to you on January 15 at 7 p.m. Help build an Iowa that puts everyday Iowans first. Together, we can make what seems impossible become a reality. It all begins at the caucuses!
