Casino would help Hawkeye Downs

As the board president of a local non-profit, I favor the Cedar Crossing Casino project.
Our resources at Hawkeye Downs are limited to a portion of the city hotel/motel tax and whatever else we can scrape up on our own. The addition of the casino gives us an opportunity for another badly needed revenue source. The next call we receive from any existing casino offering us some of their money will be the first.
The Cedar Crossing Casino would be the best thing to happen to Hawkeye Downs in decades. Turning the casino (license application) down cannibalizes us from resources we need.
