Carly Fiorina will unify our nation

To the editor:

With many fellow Republican Iowans dissatisfied with some of the options for presidential candidates, I think it's time to stop listening to the media and, frankly, it's time to get serious. Let's tear ourselves away from the horse and pony show. We don't need a spectacle in the White House; we need a substantive candidate with real leadership experience.

If we want a leader with business experience who 'tells it like it is,” look no further than Carly Fiorina. I'm not surprised an attendee of one of her recent Hawkeye State town halls was quoted as saying, 'People vote the way they buy cars. They like the color but they don't look under the hood. They don't mind the status quo.” It is time for that kind of thinking to be a thing of the past and to support the one serious candidate who will shake up the status quo in Washington. That's Fiorina.

If we are serious about holding our government accountable and not sacrificing our conservative values, we must support Fiorina for president. She is the only candidate who will not divide, but unify our nation with her common sense policy solutions that will drive industry and create jobs in America.
