Thank you Kathleen McNamara. That comes from the thousands of students you taught music to at Coolidge Elementary and hundreds you choreographed in countless community productions over the years. I first met Ms. McNamara as a choreographer in the first three 'Follies” performances. She was energetic, demanding, vocal, and everyone loved her for it. Later we purchased a house in the Coolidge district so my daughters would be in her classroom. She cared deeply and personally for every child. In addition to her great teaching skills, she produced amazing musical productions at Coolidge that had every single student singing, dancing, fully costumed and staged. She also wrote the music and the scripts. Her influence and impact on student's carrying a love of music and the arts will live on and on.
