Care center increases pay for others’ care

I had to place my wife in a care center; two months and four days later I was notified of a $2 per day increase in the daily rates. I have just received notice of a $4 per day increase starting Jan. 1. This amounts to $6 per day increase in 14 months and four days or $2,190 per year.
They say they are a non-profit organization but they are not nearly as unprofitable as I am.
Something needs to be done about this as the middle class population is really being penalized as we can't put our loved one on Title 19 without being heavily penalized on our life savings. I am sure a large percentage of care center patients are on Title 19 and we middle class people are paying the price for being thrifty and saving during our working careers and now also have to pay taxes to help keep others on Title 19 but get no help from them.
