Capitol is resource state could sell

To state Rep. Scott Raecker, R-Urbandale (who proposed selling the University of Iowa's “Mural” painting): I suggest that the Capitol building in Des Moines be sold and converted to luxury condominiums. I'm certain we could get over $100 million. We can't really afford to waste the space in that huge rotunda and wide hallways.
And we could arrange for the Legislature to meet there from time to time. Only prudent management.
