Cancer series shows why more research is needed

I applaud you for your excellent feature articles on how cancer victims in Iowa can be found in pockets and how more research is desperately needed.
I live in Iowa City on the east side. My neighborhood is close to Procter & Gamble as well as other industries who are manufacturing plastics. Within a two block radius two neighbors have suffered from breast cancer, stage 4 stomach cancer and two have died from pancreatic cancer and brain cancer. These victims are only the ones I personally know about.
More research needs to be done not just in rural areas, but industrial zones, too. I hope your team will do serious follow-ups on your insight into Iowa's tragic fame of being number 2 in the nation, not in women's basketball but in cancer.
