C.R. terminated a fair, honest police officer

The city's decision to terminate Robyn Obadal from the Cedar Rapids Police Department is ridiculous.
This officer was rescuing animals from unsanitary conditions. If this would have happened in another or larger city, the owner of the dogs would have been facing some type of animal neglect charges. Obadal was trying to do the right thing and she ended up losing her job that she dearly loved. I've known Obadal, first professionally then personally, for more than 12 years. She is and was probably one of the fairest and most honest police officers on that police force.
I can honestly say Cedar Rapids has lost a great asset to the community. Rethink your decision.
