C.R. seniors need new place to gather

To the editor:
Is anyone interested in having a nice senior center to serve the hundreds of seniors in the Cedar Rapids area?
I have written to the Cedar Rapids mayor, but with no answer or results. Not every senior can go to Milestones Adult Day Health Centers in Cedar Rapids and Marion.
We are in need of a senior center on the ground floor with nearby transportation. I suggested it be where the casino was going to be.
It needs to have a gym size room with kitchen, a living room area with magazines and newspapers, office area and a nice size room with pool table and table to play cards or do puzzles.
We also need more senior transportation.
